A Jo Magdalena party usually takes an hour – sometimes two if there are lots of people still trying jewellery on! Many Hosts will continue their evening after their Consultant has left – and many parties take place as coffee mornings and lunch breaks, too.
Q: How many people should I invite?
Have a chat to your Consultant about how many people you can comfortably have in your home.
You should always over-invite as inevitably there are some people who won’t be able to come on the day. Your Consultant will be able to help you build up a list: as a starter, you could ask four friends, four neighbours, four colleagues and four family members – and keep going!

Q: What if all my friends can’t come?
No problem, many Hosts book a second date. And you can also take advance orders from the catalogue to add to your party total. No date is suitable for everyone, so don’t worry about trying to fit everyone in first time.
Q: Do I have to do loads of cooking?
No, please don’t go to lots of trouble unless you really want to! Coffee and biscuits would be fine,
or wine and nibbles. Do what feels comfortable for you; your friends will be coming for the fun,
the chat and the shopping, not the catering!

Q: Do you take credit cards?
Yes, we take cash and credit cards at the event, and most Consultants will also accept cheques.
