Jo Magdalena Garden Party 2009 - Sunday 07 June 2009

The Jo Magdalena Garden Party 2009 was a great success – we were so pleased to see so many Consultants & Team Leaders with their guests – especially as we welcomed more than twice as many as last year. Unfortunately we didn't have the lovely and warm sunny weather like we did in 2008 but we definitely didn't let the typical British Summer showers dampen our spirits - as we were sheltered from the odd drop of rain by a big marquee.

The band played away, as Pimms and wine flowed and a scrumptious homemade buffet lunch was served. The Awards presentation and speeches were the highlight of the day, with 27 deserving awards presented to Jo Magdalena Consultants and Team Leaders; Congratulations to all Award Winners!

I've just arrived home and wanted to say thank you to all the Jo Magdalena team for such a lovely day. It was well worth the 7hr round trip! The house, gardens and marquee were beautiful and the food was delicious. It was really lovely (and inspiring) to meet other people who do the same thing and put faces to the names I've seen on the newsletter. I was so pleased to receive the necklace – it’s gorgeous. Thank you for a lovely afternoon at the Garden Party, it was good to meet so many people especially in Chris’ wonderful garden. Everything was arranged and presented so beautifully and I am sure a lot of work went into creating a smooth afternoon. Compliments also to the chef!
