Q: How much does it cost to get started?
It's easy to start your own Jo Magdalena business, simply complete your registration online or with the Consultant who introduced you and decide whether to start with the Standard Starter kit @ £95 which contains 12 items of jewellery and all the sales aids and display items you will need to hold your first parties. You may choose to join with the Premium Starter kit @ £200 which has over 30 items of jewellery included. Both of our kits do include your annual subscription to your replicated website.
Q: How many parties do I have to hold?
There is no requirement to hold a set amount of parties. You can do as few or as many as you like. You decide on how much free time you have and how much you want to earn. Many of our Consultants hold daytime parties or coffee mornings. It really is a 'job' that fits around your family life. We do ask that you hold at least 4 parties in your first 90 days to be able to keep your kit and there are extra rewards available to all our new Consultants in our 'Quick Start' programme.
Q: How much do I earn?
All Consultants start with a 25% discount, this can rise to 35% depending on your level of personal sales you achieve each month. In addition there are generous recruitment and team building rewards available to you.
Q: I've never sold jewellery before, what training will I get?
During your first few weeks your upline will be in close contact with you if you should need her. An ideal way to start is to book your own home party or go along to a party with your upline to observe and learn. The Jo Magdalena consultant website has many documents for download which will also help you. During your first month you will have the opportunity to attend a local team meeting for extra training.
Q: How often does the range of jewellery change and am I expected to order a lot of stock?
We do not advise our Consultants to hold stock. We launch 3 additional collections alongside our core collection throughout the year and you will have the opportunity to purchase these for your kit at a heavily discounted price should you wish to.
Q: Can I sell on the internet?
Yes, your registration includes a 12 month subscription for your own replicated website. You will be able to submit your story and photograph and circulate your 'address' so your customers can purchase on line from you.
Q: Do I have to purchase a specific amount of products each month?
No, you can order as much or as little as you wish. To qualify for bonus payments, you need to meet the volume criteria in the months in which you wish to be paid bonuses.
Q: How much do the catalogues cost?
We include 10 catalogues in your kit and then you can purchase catalogues at £10 for 25. These are an invaluable tool to invest in for generating parties and sales.
Q: Do I need a car?
No you don't, but it's an advantage.
Q: How much do I pay for deliveries? And how long does it take for an order to arrive?
Your parcels are delivered by courier and the charge for that is £6, however if the order value is above £400 that charge is reduced to £4. You can place your order online 24/7 and orders are processed in the order they are received. We aim to ship with 5 working days of receipt.
Q: Is there an age limit?
Yes, you will need to be 18 years old or over.
Q: Can I sell to shops?
Unfortunately you can't. We operate only as a direct selling business and do not supply any retail outlets. However you are able to promote and sell at fairs, gyms, offices etc. which is very popular especially at Christmas. However the best way to build a business is through the Party Plan channel.
